The Stahl House
Photographs of this place by Julius Shulman in the 60's was what made me fall in love with the modern era. This family home, The Stahl House, designed by Pierre Koenig has undoubtedly the best of views of LA. It is a case study house of the mid century era and has a beautiful story behind it. The Stahl family stayed determined to purchase the rocky hillside block and embark on a project that was ambitious at the time. It's an iconic home, a rare preservation project by the family.
